    How is it gonna be...
Quote from one of the song from third eye blind as for my title. How is it gonna be ... yeash that where i am thinking and i should not be running from it. 2 weeks from here it aint gonna be 20 anymore but 21 years of ups and down.Seriously have you guys ever thought how will it be in 10 years down the road or maybe even 5 years. It seems that most or maybe some people just lived by the day waiting for oppurtunities as when i was talking and chilling with bro austin. We both agreed tat in life we should be in control of our future...yet still be able pursue and get to choose our life.

Control as in getting the paper qualification? Not really true there are ppl who have diplomas or degree and yet not having a job...what about those people who are hardworking and innovative who climb up the social ladders just like the ah beng who became an entrepreneur or the school drop out James which started out as a waiter at Amara hotel and now is a director of FnB. Aptitude or attitude? o perhaps altitude...how high is one dreams. Perhaps being attached to mediacorp would be my stepping stone or SATS will be waiting for me...shall we see. What about the NSF guy who died because of a road accident

SCDF man dies in bike crash NSF was planning to get engaged in December By Tracy Sua and Teh Joo LinON WEDNESDAY night, Private Muhammad Hafiz Mawasi and his girlfriend were shopping for an engagement ring. The next morning, he was dead, after a motorcycle accident. The 21-year-old, a Singapore Civil Defence Force full-time national serviceman, was on official duty, riding along Boon Lay Way towards Jurong Town Hall Road with his pillion passenger, Sergeant Mohamed Abdillah Abdul Hameed. According to police, who are still investigating the accident, they were involved in a collision with a car that was turning right from Boon Lay Way into Jurong East Street 11 at 9.41am. Just one minute after the accident, help arrived from the Clementi Fire Station, where the two men worked as firefighters. Paramedics attended to them and took them to the National University Hospital. When they heard about the accident, Pte Hafiz's family rushed to NUH, but they were too late. He had died from multiple wounds and a severe head injury less than 45 minutes after the crash.'We did not expect him to pass away like that. We thought he only had minor injuries,' said his 23-year-old sister, customer service assistant Fizah Mawasi. 'I kept shouting at him to get up, get up, but he didn't,' said Pte Hafiz's cousin, 21-year-old Harun Rahmat.Sgt Abdillah's left leg was fractured, while the car driver was unhurt. When The Straits Times spoke to Pte Hafiz's girlfriend, 20-year-old Murniwati Suaidi, she said she would always remember how he made her laugh. 'If he was here now, I would tell him that every moment with him is precious and I would not waste it by ever saying anything bad to him.'Pte Hafiz and Miss Murniwati had been together for a year and four months. They had planned to get engaged in December this year. Hafiz is the second of four children. Older sister Fizah said he was his mother's favourite son. She remembered that his proudest moment was during his passing-out parade after initial SCDF training. Since the age of five he had wanted to be a fireman, and had planned to sign on with the SCDF as a regular. The SCDF said Pte Hafiz was 'outstanding and diligent', and 'got along very well with his peers'. He joined the force in March last year. When The Straits Times visited the hospital yesterday evening, about a dozen relatives and friends were huddled around Sgt Abdillah, who had a pillow resting on his legs. A family member, who declined to be named, said he was conscious and 'stable'.Pte Hafiz's family were preparing for his funeral this morning. For Miss Murniwati, one of their final conversations on Wednesday night remains starkly in her memory. 'He said that I must take care of myself and look for a job. He said, 'Who's going to take care of you when I'm gone?'.'

*Rest in peace dude*...to think we are in control. We made the decisions let it be riding a bike or driving a car.Come to think of it its just like Final Destination 2 huh where death could not be avoided. Why not we juz stay in a hut and stock up on supplies and live on safely...haha? that what the guy did in the movie but yet he died in a fire. Im not actually tring to make u guys paranoid or what its just that if u think of it again ...we may or may not be in control

For all who are depressed now of their life i hope this help yeah:

Be realistic. If you feel overwhelmed by some activities (yours and/or your family's), learn to say NO. Eliminate an activity that is not absolutely necessary. You may be taking on more responsibilities than you can or should handle. If you meet resistance, give reasons why you're making the changes. Be willing to listen to others' suggestions and be ready to compromise.

Take one thing at a time. For people under tension or stress, an ordinary workload can sometimes seem unbearable. The best way to cope with the feeling of being overwhelmed is to take things one task at a time. Pick one urgent task and work on it. Once you accomplish that task, move on to the next one. The positive feeling of "checking off" tasks is very satisfying; it will motivate you to keep going.

Meditate. Just 10 to 20 minutes of quiet reflection may bring relief from chronic stress as well as increase your tolerance to it. Use the time to listen to music, relax and try to think of pleasant things or absolutely nothing.

Visualize. Use your imagination and picture how you can manage a stressful situation more successfully. Whether it's a business presentation or moving to a new place, many people feel that visual rehearsals boost self-confidence and enable them to take a more positive approach to a difficult task.

Exercise. Regular exercise is a popular way to relieve stress. 20 to 30 minutes of physical activity benefits both the body and the mind.

Hobbies. Take a break from your worries by doing something you enjoy, whether it's gardening or building a wall unit. Schedule time to indulge your interests.

Healthy lifestyle. Good nutrition makes a difference. Limit your intake of
caffeine and alcohol (alcohol actually disturbs regular sleep patterns); get adequate rest; exercise; and balance work and play.

Share your feelings. A conversation with a friend lets you know that you are not the only one having a bad day, caring for a sick child or working in a busy office. Stay in touch with friends and family. Let them provide love, support and guidance. Don't
    try to cope alone.

MediaCorp Radio malay stations refute accusations of banning Taufik songs

SINGAPORE : MediCorp Radio has refuted comments in the local newspapers that its Malay language stations are boycotting Singapore Idok Taufik Bastista by not airing his songs or his interviews.
A New Paper article dated 17th January said the two Malay language stations Warna 94.2 FM and Ria 89.7 FM are not giving the Singapore Idol any airtime.
In response, MediaCorp Radio says the Malay stations have not banned airplay of Taufik's songs.
In fact, Taufik's "I Dream" is being played daily on the Malay stations.
It adds the radio stations heavily support local artistes and local music.
The New Paper article had said the reason behind the boycott was that MediaCorp Radio was upset that Taufik's management company, Artiste Networks, turned down an invitation for him to perform at the Anugerah Planet Musik (APM) to be held on 18th February.
APM is the Malay music industry's equivalent of the Grammy Awards and is an event followed closely by the regional audience.
Replying to this, MediaCorp Radio says it hopes to work around Taufik's national service commitments that night so that he could perform side by side with other regional stars. - CNA
